Santanu Pradhan - About me

Hey There! I'm a Physics Enthusiast

I am a PhD Research Scholar at IIT Kanpur, specializing in theoretical and gravitational physics. My research focuses on black hole physics, tidal gravity, and the dynamics of compact objects, exploring the fundamental nature of spacetime through gravitational waves, quantum field theory, and cosmology.

With a strong academic foundation from IIT Indore, I aim to advance our understanding of the universe and to communicate the beauty of physics to a broader audience.

Beyond my research, I am passionate about science communication and enjoy sharing my knowledge through talks, articles, and online content.

Calculated Quasi-Normal Modes (QNMs) for Kerr Black Holes using a novel technique, comparing results with Leaver's method.

Studied AdS/CFT correspondence, black hole thermodynamics, holographic duality, and string theory connection to QCD.
